This is the bearing that is known as the Nuskey bearing (per Dave Sclavi) and will fit the ol’ Mercer trucks.  If your ol’ Mercer trucks have lost their roll, here are the replacement bearings.  Priced at $7.00ea.  This bronze bearing is usable on the new IHS Bettendorf trucks and A5 tender trucks if desired.  Dims: 3/4 OD x 5/8 ID x 1.0 LG (inches).  Please take note regarding lubrication: only use white lithium or a non-filled grease on bronze bushings.  Do not use a ‘dark’ grease i.e. molybdenum filled grease.  The graphite particles in the grease will embed into the bronze, which then acts as a lathe tool, devouring the axle end over time.  Requested quantities can be sent to IHSC775@gmail.com and a total’s quote will be sent back.  Payments to be in US dollars by cash or personal checks/money order made payable to Iron Horse Supply.
